Local Stop is a street brand I created in collaboration with my classmate Tamir Moses to promote advocacy and create local change in NYC. Local Stop aims to create excitement and involvement of younger generations for a better future.
Platform is an annual music festival created by Local Stop to bring awareness to human trafficking. Participants are required to complete tasks through a points system in order to gain entry to the festival which promotes physical change and involvement rather than just promoting awareness.
Design, and copy are inspired by the New York City subway system. Platform, referring to the subway platform which represents individuals coming together and community, and Local Stop which represents the local subway stops referencing that advocacy and change needs to happen within our local communities.
